United – Optum:
Insurance has paused group/facility credentialing. We were advised to apply as an agency for H codes — that application has been submitted. Clarified timeframe as of 5/21/25, rep states initial review is approx. 30-45 calendar days, credentialing/contracting approx. 90-120 calendar days. You may continue to see clients for traditional services but cannot yet bill H codes.
Wellpoint – Carelon:
Per the representative, a contract was mailed to OBM; however, we explained that it was never received. According to their records, we were supposed to be contracted with Carelon since November 2024.As of last week, they are working on issuing a new contract (though the process has been unnecessarily difficult). We are continuing to follow up via email regularly. In the meantime, I recommend utilizing a Single Case Agreement (SCA) to process claims. I’ve already shared the SCA process with Jessica and Marisol via email.
